Sold as a P scrofa?
This was sold as a female P scrofa, though was told it could potentially be a Grammostola sp concepcion. Which do you think she could be? What are some distinguishing features I should look for? She is very active, digs quite a bit.
This is excellent, precisely why I subscribe to this section of the Forum. Thank you so much for taking the time to be specific. I wish we could hold a class!

This is Grammostola sp. "Concepcion". The widened metatarsus of leg one and three giving it a heart shape seen in the picture of the underside gives it away. Species of the genus Phrixotrichus possesses two urticating hair patches comprised of type 3 and 4 urticating hairs. The pictured tarantula has only one. Phrixotrichus species seem to be rare in the hobby as one hardly sees pictures of tarantulas with two urticating hair patches. It is common to see Grammostola or Euathlus species sold incorrectly as Phrixotrichus scrofa.

Thank you so much everyone! Man, not going to lie, I am a bit bummed and really wanted a scrofa, but I WAS warned by the seller and my first instinct on seeing her was that she looked a lot less brown than I hoped. At least she does have tons of personality, very active and a little digging machine. I never heard of the sp concepcion before this, are they a bit uncommon?
