I recently rehoused this speedy little girl and she has been out and about ever since. I hadn't seen her for over a year, until her burrow collapsed and I risked her bolting every time I opened her enclosure. She was overdue for a rehouse.
I too, didn’t see mine for about a year. She wasn’t even a pet hole, as she didn’t even leave a hole. Prey items would just vanish in the night. However, several weeks ago, she opened two holes into her burrow, one quite larger than the other. She’s not out and about like yours, but she does station herself at the opening, quite often her little pink(ish) legs sticking out.
I did see her toes the odd time, but she had a burrow right down to the bottom of the enclosure. Then, one day I saw her sitting out during the day and thought that was odd. I took her enclosure down and saw that her burrow had completely collapsed. I knew that was going to be risky for me to open it up, due to how skittish they are, so I quickly rehoused her. She has lots of room now and a hide that she can take to. I won't have to ever rehouse her again.
