Male Latrodectus Variolus
He's freshly molted from this morning, wondering why I'm holding his pinecone house. :) His name is Zultana and he likes making funnels.
@Greasylake They Love them. And you can easily rehouse them without disturbing them too greatly. I usually make a few tapping and small scratches with my cricket probe to nudge them into the space on the cone I want them to inhabit, then I act like I can't get to them with the probe and this seems to make them feel more secure in a certain area. They like to make funnels if they can, at least, that's what I've seen with my girls and boys, so I give them 3 dimensional hides like pinecones and shells. :) Glad I could help!

@Michael Powell not at this stage. They will be going into natural hibernation very soon, for which I am preparing them for, and hopefully next season, there will be enough survivors that I have scattered around my house that will make it into spring besides the ones which I have safe in terrariums. If so, I will be ready next season, but more likely than not, I will need to wait another year to get a good inventory to do that. Good question sir.
