Sold as Purple Bloom (1/2)

Hello everyone I was hoping I could get her identified. She was sold as purple bloom
I'm between phormictopus or pamphobeteus but having trouble. Please help thanks in advance

well Pamphobeteus sp. Platyomma is commonly called the purple bloom, but that does kinda look like a male P. cancerides. Probably a male P. sp Platyomma thought just because its called a purple burst, but it is a pet store, so be carefull.

If the lady was correct she said this Is female about 10years. So if she is right we can scratch male because of age

@Clay1111 oh yea, definetly phormictopus

OMG YOU LUCKED OUT! If the female is like that it may be a P. sp. purple which is rare. Plus confirmed females are super expensive

Wow that would be great. And possible to considering the fact she could not guarantee me the sp. :)

I hear pamphobeteus mature females don't hold their purple color..... maybe narrowing down pretty good

Its Phormictopus cancerides I think.

To be sure you would need to check the spermathecae.

Definitely Phormic though
