Anuroctonus Phaiodactylus

extremely defensive...wonder why it's called mafia scorpion
Judging by the size of the claws compared to its tail, is this species temper worse than its sting?
 
@RezonantVoid that’s right, it has a bit of an attitude problem all the time lol, and it’ll rather pinch than sting as far as I observed...grumpy but kinda cute
 
@zizz yea I have this tiny little Urodacus Armartus and it has the worst temper of anything but similar to this guy, he is harmless and just tries pinching you excessively. I do like the look of this one better though. Where is it native to?
 
@RezonantVoid it’s native to the US (Arizona, California etc), and it’s extremely rare in the Europe, I’m in the UK so I’m pretty excited to get them
