Euathlus sp. Red Mature Male
One of three males... the other two are closely behind him.
I got him as a 1/4" spiderling in April 2016 - it's taken only two years for him to mature.
I hope you’re able to fit nd a mate for this handsome guy! I LOVE this species!

@ErinM31 I have a mature female. There are not many mature females about, but I recently purchased one. The problem is that they need to have this cool down situation that I am not really in the position to provide. I don't live in a house with a basement, or a cooler part, to put her in for six to eight weeks.

@VanessaS Could you get a wine cooler for that? I got an inexpensive small one off Amazon for some delicate millipedes and it keeps them at 18C. :)

Lol, the apartment is small and, in the face of Texas summer heat, the AC is meh, but my millipedes stay comfy and cool!:cool:

@ErinM31 I'm trying to figure out something exactly like that. Maybe some sort of styrofoam cooler that I can put something in to keep it cool - like frozen plastic water bottles.
Since her enclosure is smaller than my regular sized spiders, it wouldn't be that difficult to find.
