Now would you say Squirt is about full grown? Just trying to get an idea if my new cambridgei is fully grown. Dorothy is about that big. I also have a mature male, which is why I am curious.
hmm, okay. yeah, if that’s the case, I’m going to hold off... Unfortunate, but I want to be on the safe side in case she isn’t quite sexually mature. Their enclosures are next to each other so I will keep an eye out for tapping, but yeah, otherwise, I’m not going to pair them.
This is fine. I didn’t get her for breeding, strictly, I got her to replace Toto since he isn’t long for this world.
@volcanopele Next time she molts, examine the exuviae. If she is sexually mature, the spermathecae will have sclerotized. (This will make them appear darker than those of an immature female.)
