Interesting observation. Fed Mom 2 super worms since none of the slings were out, they were all down the burrow.. but as soon as the mom made the kill they all came out, crawling all over her and literally eating out of her own mouth. the mother did not apear to be eating but simply holding it.
I heard mommy balfs also become lethargic when their egg sacs or slings are taken from them? Also it's noteworthy that brooding females when walking tread carefully so as not to accidentally step on spiderlings.
@Haksilence H.Incei are like this as well but they are a 100% communal dwarf species even known to keep other spiders that just happen to wonder into there inclosure as part of there communal set up.
