...at all. Since three days my new P. chordatus refuses to leave her transport box. Why doesn't she want to have a look at her new enclosure? And maybe burrow a bit??
They don't explore the wilderness in the wild. That's how you get eaten. It's made its home and wants to stay on it. I'd get it into the new cage and leave it.
@Venom1080 Thank you, but she can stay wherever she wants. This thing is a little grey devil and I'm not discussing her home preferences with her - she still has her transport box because I couldn't figure out a safe way to get her out of it... You are probably right about the lack of exploration behaviour, though.
@boina colour. There are lighter variants from as far east as Etheopia. There are also a lot of mustard mutts. But this is Tanzania variant. Close to the true Kilimanjaro Baboon. The only darker is Mastov variant
