Now, don't get exited, it's a dud. There are still no male T. cyaneolum around. She obviously thinks conditions are good for breeding though, 'cause she made this sac three weeks ago. I'll let her keep it for another week, hoping she'll eat it and get the nutrients back. After that I'll take it.
Aw, why'd you have to put a title like that with that pic! I got all excited until I read the caption!
 
I hope you can find a mate for her! I hate to see them go through all that effort for naught! :( I have a Tigrosa wolf spider who made an infertile sac; most attentive mother I've seen, even holding it around the water dish without it once getting wet (I eventually took the sac and the eggs were in pristine condition).
 
Oh wow I did not know female tarantulas made egg sacs even if they have never bern mated with a male. Do all female Ts do this?
