Lucanus cervus cervus (Linnaeus, 1758)

big male in defensive pose, feeding on young oak
@TMan88 I hope I get that question right.
It is native European species, it is still quite common in some regions but its populations are declining. They even live in centre of our capital city. This one was photographed in little oak forest around 10 km (6 mi) from my house. :)
