P vittata my first T

This poor T sat in a crapy pet store I get feeders for my snakes. I've seen this poor spider and a p striata sitting on a back shelf for over a year was 1 .5 inches when they first got there I just bought her 3 days ago as a 3.5 inch posable male but it looks to be a 5 inch maybe bigger female s
Terrible choice for a first t. Reptiles will prepare you for a ow t about as well as a goldfish....research, while great, is pretty much useless without corresponding experience.

Best of luck, and I mean that sincerely.

I had issues with FedEx destroying my acrylic enclosure showed up in 3 pieces so I'm fighting with FedEx to get my enclosure paid for but in the meantime I have upgraded the girl to a much larger sterilite file holder bin here are a few pics of the new enclosure. Venomous snakes such as eastern green mambas which I own 2 of totally prepare you for a old world T they are arboreal super skittish lighting speed and can shoot out the enclosure and look you dead in the eyes before you can blink the only difference is a mamba won't just mess up your week but f up your whole life if you survive just putting that our there everybody has different experience levels just because someone hasn't owned a old world arboreal doesn't mean they do not have the experience to own one.

Its true that snakes (even nervous elapids) are easier to read than an unpredictable OW tarantula like this. But I assume that anyone familiar with snakes of that caliber are responsible enough to gather info on how to keep and transfer them, and smart enough to respect the animal. A pokie is not exactly the best introduction but hey, at least it'll be a fast learning curve.

1. You are flat out wrong in thinking theres a link between snakes and ts. Theres no comparison.

2. The enclosure looks like its set up very good.
