B. vagans?

B. vagans?

Was labeled as Brachypelma vagans...this sling is about 1 inch long. Is this most likely B. vagans?
@ChanTheMan

No I haven't attempted to feed him. The idiot who kept crickets in the sling's enclosure were given threat postures by the sling, so I'm assuming he definitely is not hungry right now.

One thing I do notice are the very red urticating hairs on the abdomen, which aren't really captured in the photo. I'm still an extreme beginner; do tarantulas of the same species vary in hair coloration? I was thinking if they are red hairs, then they very well could be B. vagans?

If not what genus/species do you believe he is?
