Brachypelma vagans???

I got her as a freebie labeled B. vagans a while ago. She's now 4"- and she does not look like vagans to me. Every vagans I've ever seen has a dark carapax.
good looking T reminds me B albiceps is fairly close to the top of my list

Yes, I've thought about that, but she doesn't look quite like my albiceps either... and an albiceps as a freebie? They are expensive around here! German vendors aren't usually that generous ;). Could it be a hybrid?

@boina possible. It may be albiceps and just not have adult color yet. I remember albiceps was relatively cheap in Europe a couple of years back. It may also be a hybrid. The chances are quite probable.

Wait for another molt to be sure on coloration, if the head stays dark could be a hybrid. Also, chelicerae (fang sheathes) are normally pure black like their femurs. Just my newbie 2 cents.
