A. Geniculata ~ MOLT

Acanthoscurria Geniculata ~ Nikita ~ {F?} 10.5cm. Only started the hobby November 2016, it's her 2nd molt in my care. She has doubled her size in just 3 months !
Hard to tell in the pic any clearer ones of the epigastric furrow ? but from what can make out look likes you right female could be wrong tho

I am unsure. I can see the lips but no dark spots indicating spermathecae (which should be easily seen at 4 inches)

Because it is so wet and shiny is difficil but I would say male

I'd say 100% male. The spermatheca at this size would be easily apparent to the naked eye, and A. geniculata have very distinctly shaped spermatheca.

GuttedAs there are mixed opinions I szpost a second one taken now that it's dried out completely.
This was sold to me as a female when it was only 5cm.
At the time I wondered how they could correctly sex a T that small, but just hoped it would work out ok.
With the wet molt I even believed it was a female.
What's the normal course of action when this happens to you ? ? ? :arghh:
I also purchased a 5cm B. Smithi Female at the same time, and obviously I clearly didn't want to pay for males.

@PurplePanther Your other picture clearly shows female. Sorry about the scare, but I still see no spermatheca in this picture :p It's clear as day that this is male, but obviously not.
