I like to keep them in larger containers. After breeding them, I started in smaller ones, but quickly learned that they web them up very quickly...and because they are just so darn fast and prey driven, extra space is better than less.
You're going to love it....they grow fast and can mature (males) in as little as 8 months.
@EulersK ahh really what's the reason for the name change has it been that previously like the g.rosea/portiri (if that's how spell it) @cold blood already in awe over my two can't wait till they get big and with you sayin 8 months at least won't be a long wait

@Brad1993 No, G. rosea and G. porteri are two distinct species. As for why it was reclassified... I have no clue. Reclassification is constantly happening, the entire Aphonopelma genus was shaken up not long ago.
