P. Tigrinwessli(spelling..)

Bad pic but she's so fast... She was on my elbow before I could get a decent photo of her in the palm of my hand for size reference...
Plus, JUST LOOK at the T... Shes gorgeous. Those legs have so many stripes its fascinating. I mean compare it to a Miranda or Regalis... It has 2x-3x as many. Too cool.

Then why do you sound so ridiculous? When did he "throw" a T on the ground? lol... I met him through Jamie, and he's just about as knowledgeable as you can be... Not to mention he learned a lot of what he knows from Stanley, and Marguerite Schultz themselves. I'm sure you knew that.

How is not wanting to handle your T's because a bad bite could ruin the hobby being afraid of them? People don't handle old world T's because there afraid of them, they don't do it because it could be detrimental to the hobby.

I'm sure that when theyre looking at their T, alone in their house in Kootenay, Canada they are thinking.. "nope better not, BECAUSE IT COULD HURT THE HOBBY." I mean if you think so, good for you, but rationalizing your fear at someone else's expense is rather... shallow? Not to mention you follow it up with the Miss America "I care about everyone else, and think about them all the time" nonsense. I've been bit 3 times. I have yet to see the "hobby" come crashing down around me... I'll keep my eyes open for that, though. -.-

@EulersK I wasn't aware of the possible outlaw problems regarding Ts in the US. This would explain the 'edginess' and concerns and seems legit to agree against advertising handling. However, I'm sure there's better ways to communicate your concerns, avoiding attacks. If this really is a bid deal, I'm sure the forum would have a policy against media showing handling pictures don't you think?!

Well yes I am a shallow person, I don't think you listened to what anyone is actually saying " A well documented bite case" meaning someone is actually medically affected by it.

Oh no I read it. No one came to document it is the point, annnnnd no one will lol. Ever. You do realize there is a WHOOOLE section on this very site dedicated to bite reports? I guess the moderators don't agree... And how does "well documented" in any way mean "medically affected?" Would you say the 2004 World Series was medically affected? or well documented? Because you're saying they're synonymous... you're also extreeeemely boring.

@AgnO there aren't any legitimate legislatures willing to do anything of the sort. They have no reason. Legislation against deadly venomous snakes is more likely, and that isn't even happening on a federal level. The Lacey act, which is one of the few cases against exotic wildlife in the pet trade isn't even concerned about "bites." they're concentrating on invasive species taking over areas of the US... Every dog is capable of delivering a bite, and it won't kill you. Tarantula.... Same thing. So do you honestly think someone is going to outlaw T's bc of a bite? Highly unlikely, especially because there isn't anything even legitimate even hinting towards that possibility. People (especially on this site) love to hate on tiny little things and claim they actually know what sort of garbage is spewing from their mouth.

@Burchling He threw it on the ground during an unboxing video. I'm not going to sort through his 600+ videos to find it, I'll leave that to you. As for Stan... eh. He's been out of the hobby for a very long time, and he only ever kept NW species. Many new hobbyists have more experience with a variety of tarantulas than he does. Last I checked, he doesn't even keep tarantulas anymore.

I'm done here. Not interested in arguing with blowhards. Maybe think about another hiatus from these forums, yeah?

@Burchling yes because Eulersk is scare of the animals he chooses to keep in his own home. that makes no sense. most people dont handle because the spiders dont like it and bites from OW hurt like hell. Ts arent handling pets, treat them like tropical fish. theres plenty of other exotic pets that dont mind handling.
