That's awesome. I pulled my darlingi yesterday. Cute little ewl's. Are most of yours ewl's when you pull them or do you incubate some that are still eggs?
I have issues with mine when they're still eggs but I am always (so far) successful at bringing them to 2i when they are ewl's. My temps are warm (around 75°f) and I keep them in an incubator. I use thick viva paper towels to hold them on and filled the container about 2/3 full of water. I had them on stockings but fruit flies are always attacking my eggs & eating them. So I put a (kurig single) coffee filter over the top of them to prevent the fruit flies getting to them. So it's a small plastic cup with water as the base- paper towel hammock (rubberband holds it on) - and then the screened coffee filter sits upside down over them. Are my temps not warm enough or should I put a humidifier in my T room? Oh and if anyone else reads this any input would be greatly appreciated.
@Casey K I keep mine at, and that counts for all my spiders at a room temperature at 80f. I dont use a humidifier. And the babies hatch just fine.
Maybe your tempts are a little on the low side. Fruit flies i never had problems with those. Maybe you have some different kind of fruit flies over there.
If you haven`t seen my incubator vids yet here it is. This is how i do, and it works really great. Not saying you should do it this way just how i do, and never had issues that way. I hope it helps friend <3
Thank you so much for your input and sharing the vids! I will bump my temps up another 5°. This helps a lot! Congrats on the sac and I wish you more to come.
