Went to my first ever reptile convention with one of my good friends. Came back with some new tarantulas! This is my new B. emilia sling. So small and so cute! I'm looking forward to raising them!
Was adding vent holes in the corners and this little one teleported to the tip of my middle finger, and subsequently scared the shit out of me. I put her back in, only for her to round robin and then end up on the outside of the enclosure. With a few gentle nudges she went right back to the moss I have in her enclosure.
Whew... glad it ended with her being safe in the enclosure. If she got out in my room, there's a 0% chance I find her. Day one and already learning lessons, trial by fire I suppose hahaha, I'm really looking forward to watching her grow.
