Came home to this

My Mom and aunt are staying with me for a bit. I left them alone with my juvenile G. rosea while I went to work. I asked why they buried my spider. They said "we wanted to make sure it can't get out of there. It was moving. We freaked out." xD
People make me laugh sometimes. The full bowl wasn't enough.. you need the extra bag on top just to make sure. :D

Well at least it made them feel safer.

I'd hate to see what would happen if they had to look after my L. difficilis, I sometimes catch her gnawing on the vents of her KK o_O:eek::rofl:

@Trenor Yeah, those 2 English muffins may be the difference between life and death! I just crack up imagining them here alone, spider decides to walk to the other side of the enclo... "OMG WHAT DO WE DO???" "I dunno! Quick, put some groceries on it!"
Honestly I offered to move it to a less obvious place but they said they'd feel better if they can keep an eye on it haha

@Ondottr I will be trying my best to work this quote into a regular conversation today... "Yeah, those 2 English muffins may be the difference between life and death!" :)

Yeah, you have to be able to keep an eye on it. Otherwise who knows what might happen. :D

This is amazing! I had someone look after my pets once, and they wouldn't do the spiders cause they were so scared (none over an are over an inch.) And we came home to find that when they reset the internet password for us, they used a spider species. We were like, "uhhh, ok?" So... scared of spiders, but they use one for the internet password. People are so funny!
