I got her as a freebie labeled B. vagans a while ago. She's now 4"- and she does not look like vagans to me. Every vagans I've ever seen has a dark carapax.
No, absolutely not closed. Can be B.verdezi, can be one of the other closely related redrumps, what it's not though is B.albiceps - a light carapace does not mean B.albiceps! .
