Even in her new enclosure, Yukinoshita will not ditch her cork bark. At least I know for sure her unusual terrestrial behaviour is due to true love and not discontentment with her substrate
@Smokehound714 the interesting thing is though, she almost never webs. I inspected it when transferring it and could only find a tiny patch of silk. Even her burrow is only lined with trace amounts
Spider do weird things sometimes. Lol.
I had a A. chalcodes that stayed out in the open always and used his hide for a toilet. Lol! That's the only place I ever found poo or waste.
Quick update: got back from work today and she made considerable excavation progress to her starter burrow and even provided a viewing window for me! Covered it over for now until she's fully settled in. The plant has lasted for 24 hours so far which is a new record for this girl too
My new B.Vagans is pretty weird too. When I turn the enclosure to take a look at them, they dart under their cork bark and cover the glass with a thin layer of dirt that they later take down.(they and them as in un-sexed)
