B. Vagans?
She is my 1st T. Someone in another post said she didn't look like a brachypelma vagans. (It was a pic before her molt though so she looked different) just want to confirm what I think she is.
It could be. Don't listen to whoever told you that it doesnt look like a vagans aha.

The thing is, there are so many similar 'red rump' tarantulas that its near impossible to tell which one you will have from a photo. Many are hybridised too, which makes it even harder.

If you really want to ID it then you would need to examine the exuviae after next molt and match it up to Brachypelma vagans.

Not likely to be B. Vagans. B. vagans is listed under appendix II of CITES to prevent illegal removal and international trade, due to the risk of extinction.

@KezyGLA it was an educated guess. I have a vagans I got a while ago. The similarities are striking. But I am judging the size if this to be around 3-4 "

Either that or mine is not a vagans witch would be pretty funny.

@TreeHugger Definitely a Brachypelma. The Could very well BE a B. vagans in all reality. - I didn't say that it positively wasn't I just said it probably wasn't because it isn't likely to be- because B. vagans is highly regulated in the pet trade in terms of import/export. This also doesn't rule out the possibility of an illegally poached specimen, either.
