      OMG, so glad these are purple. I'm raising two and haven seen recent pictures of anything past the sling coloration. Beautiful spider.

      @JavaJacketOC These turn a copperish color throughout their molt cycle. Other than that, really not different at all from hobby purpurea from Ecuador, leading me to believe these are very likely the same species, only locality variants. The revision documents purpurea in *Colombia.

      @JavaJacketOC yeah mine is kind of metallic purple after recent molt under flash light, fun one to keep

      @CEC Agreed. I haven't had purpurea for a long time but they basically looked like the pictures animal.
