This is an excellent photo CEC. This is exactly what they look like, considering I've raised these before it fits. I'm glad you were able to capture the white dorso-lateral abdominal setae, too few new people miss that trait, and just point to the fiber optic setae as the reason "I have a metallica"
Perhaps it's the lighting, but are you NOT using a PURE BLACK background? If you are, the lighting it is making it grey, and thus they don't stand out as much.
I'll use this pic as a reference in the future.
If only a few of the others were in the Avic revision. It's a real bummer that many of the ones entrenched in the hobby were not examined.
