A. purpurea sling

Was really worried about this little one making it. It had to stay at the usps facility over thanksgiving. :c needless to say, I'm very thankful the little thing made it. :) I'll try to get a better picture soon as well.
That enclosure has a lot of moisture in it. Take care as avice don't do well with a lot of moisture.

I keep mine on dry substrate and a bottle cap for a water dish. I also use plenty of ventilation so the moisture doesn't build up.

Good luck.

Its one of Jaime's enclosures with only a vent at the top but I've heard they're ok for ventilation.
I made it just a tad moist, I'm aware. It wasn't imtentional but I figured it would dry fine. Thank you, if I need any help I know where to come. :)

I've used some of her's and they work great. Just keep an eye on the moisture and you'll be fine. I would recommend adding a water dish and not spraying though. :)

First, as said, its too wet, your sling won't last in that. Also, the wood needs to be taller, and should be surrounded by plants, they like cover and acclimate much better with more of it.

And yes, add a water bottle cap for water.
I hate those enclosures for avics, a 32oz deli cup is a supremely superior vessel for raising this sling.

Good luck, they are really beautiful.

This is an old photo of a setup with a Jamie enclosure.

Here is some I made myself using similar boxes.
