Agreed, it's too far back. I think I see spermatheca, but that could very well be a shadow or trick of the camera/debris/etc.

The back lighting it's as crucial as you might think. Just get a camera with a good flash and take a picture of it. It helps to put the exuvia on a white piece of paper for the shot.
 
I take a extra 16oz deli cup, turn it upside down and lay out a wet paper towel with the molt on it. I often shine the light from underneath and use the flash. It helps a lot and makes it easy to work with the molt.
