Just molted. Rehouse time!
What a beauty....looks like my little fuzzy❤ you really capture the beautiful coloration on its carapace! This is the first time Ive seen the Carbbean diamond name...good to have another desciptive common name ty. Maybe Ill have more luck finding info with that one thanks

@TheSanguineSaint They really are beautiful. I also wasn’t able to find much info on them, but I’ve been keeping mine just like a regular Tapi and it seems to be doing great so far!

I too am keeping "Bolt" as a Tap or Avic species with good ventilation. This is my first Tap but I have kept Avics for quite some time. I hope I get to see some of the coloration as in yours. I am also curious to see if the males and females show any different coloration in this species. Maybe that will help me sex this baby if I cant get a good ventral shot or molt lol

@Thelema777 it sure is....and fast too! Over night my sling webbed its entire housing and burrowed down through 3 inches of substrate and moved the sphagnum over the burrow entrance...all that at 1/2" lol. I thought my Avics were fast but thus Union Island takes the cake...hence the name "bolt"!

Great to see this T for comparison and to get a look at this not well known type
