@hard_jokur: a T can be sexed at any size, from the internal structures.
If you can get the shed skin out, look for a small pinkish or reddish structure between the first set of booklungs (on the inside).

I'd suggest waiting until you can grab ahold of the shed; will be much easier to tell at that point in time.

At about 2'' in legspan or 5th maybe 6th molt sometimes even later.

i always call mine females until proven otherwise. perhaps it helps? i thought they had to be more mature than the 5th or 6th molt? :?

The presence or absence of spermathecae can be ascertained under magnification even in the early instars, the problem is not to rip the tiny skin appart!
When I tried to sex my little C. cyaneopubescens for the first time I destroyed the exuvium because it was just too tiny (about 1,5cm legspan).
I had to wait two month for another molt but then I knew for sure she was a girl!

with the naked eye you can sex the moult at about 2'' LS.
but with a stereo microscope and a very keen eye, you can sexed the moult even at .75'' LS. heres an example of my B. vagans, shes about 1'' now, molted just this past friday Feb 4th.
the first pic I took from the viewfinder of my microscope , hopes it works out, the other pic see the moult next to the lincoln penny for size comparison.

I need one of u guys to come over and show me in person how to sex these Ts from under a microscope. I am constantly 2nd guessing myself. Therefore i am never sure what is right or not. :wall:
