Just got home and this is what I was greeted with!!! I think my PZB wanted to relax or something because as soon as I lifted the lid to it's enclosure it calmly climbed out! I just thought it was hilarious, can't imagine how long it had been there. It even knocked over the small ramp I made for any crickets that made it in there. Don't worry, the water level isn't natraually that deep, it's just like that since the T decided to jump in lol. Anyone else got some funny pix like this??

EDIT: It's nowhere near moulting in case anyone wonders.

My Goliath Birdeater (T. blondi) sometimes sits in the water dish. I don't bother him as he may be cooling off, drinking or some other reason.

I wonder if your may have been crawling up the glass and fell backwards into the dish. You may want to check out the rump and rear legs to see if it is leaking a clear "ooze". If it took a fall, it may have been injured. I hope that is not the case.

Very nice T though. I love this hobby. But this hobby is slowly turning into a lifestyle of T fashion and variety.

mt PZB did the same thing, took a bath and decided to undress at the same time.

All is good in that department, I gave him a good inspection and he's ok. I agree about T's becoming fashionable. It is a shame but it also applies with many other hobbies I gues like fish, geckos etc. I personally go for the more docile species. Lack of experience being one reason, preferance being another.
