Ps , Did u get my last PM ?
Yeah it's an old sheet of fake grass you use for model railways - I glued it with spraymount to a wooden board. T's find it incredibly difficult to walk over, so they tend to sit still for pictures useful for Haplopelma/Poecilotheria etc.genious_gr said:I got a question. I guess you've allready answered that but I couldnt possibly look for the answer. So.... what's that green background we allways see in your pics? A piece of fake grass? It must be very usefull.
why definetly Haplopelma? On this photo I can't see some taxonomical relevant characters to rule out some other genera which are close related to the genus Haplopelma and which might be mixed up with it on the first glance. And as long as I can't see them I would never say "definitely"...Aviculariinae said:Definetly Haplopelma sp. probably schmidti.
Exactly Which is why I just posted the exuvia to VolkerMartin H. said:...Aphonopelma, C. paganus, Haplopelma schmidti, etc. => I think this thread is another good example how useful photo ID threads are! *sigh*
just my two cents!
