I wanted to do a backdrop tutorial video versus pic by pic instructions. Here is a video that is much easier to follow.

Nice tutorial!

Isn't the R-# quality of the high-impact styrofoam just the degree of insulation? :? :?

I always enjoy your videos.

I have to give props to the person filming (your wife I am assuming?) she is a keeper ;)

I got a big kick out of that!

Great work, and wonderful entertainment as you took us through the process. You made silicone spreading/ substrate sticking look so easy! I probably would have managed to get silicone in about 10 different places it wasn't suppose to be, even with gloves on.

It was very cool to see how quick and easy making a beautiful backdrop can be. I've been too intimidated to make my own because I thought I'd have to go to great lengths of using expandable foam. I really like your method! Thanks so much for sharing.

This is so awesome, i think i will be doing this, so simple.
There isn't a time where i don't laugh during your videos, you're goofy funny - i like the look on your face when you look up slowly at your wife, when you accidentally got glue on the floor.

Nicely done. May have to give this a try. How does the background hold up to wear over time?

I've been using them for years and haven't had one wear out yet...plus, if something does happen to one, they are patchable.

Yeah, I'd use the heat method too if I was you! LOL It does work, I just prefer the rougher texture you get from the drill...
