im not a scientist but maybe she should research the "massuagua rattle snake"....i know their highly endagered here in missouri dont know about colorado...also birds and such...

well, the 'sauga is only considered endangered in some of the states throughout its range, not federally. and i'm not sure about the range in CO. if we have them, they would be found in the south-eastern part of the state, not near canon city to the best of my knowledge.

Unfortunatly, no one would probably care of the mining would hurt a rattlesnake. It might actually encourage them to mine. :rolleyes:

sorry i tried.....i know here there some good hefty fines associated with them ....mainly because there so rare here....well then id say. your best best would be affects on native species...fish, crayfish,frogs nakes, birds lizards...ect ect but im sure you knew that much
