First off, can you feed roaches to Ts? I read some places you can and other places no.

I have the following Ts:
Avicularia purpurea
Avicularia versicolor
Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens
Brachypelma smithi

Also, is there a species of roach that doesn't climb glass to make it easier to keep in the tank?

The cricket thing is not working out well for me. They eat them but more will end up dying between meals than they eat. They do not seem to enjoy worms leaving me to try to dig them out disturbing the Ts too much. My smithi is extremely upset by worms; mealworms and the sort.) He has a bald backend ever since I tried giving him worms. He tries to stay off the substrate now as well. I attribute it to the worms as he has never done this before.

This is not likely because of the worms. Maybe your substrate is just too wet for her liking? Or it could be a sign of premolt.

And yes you can feed roaches to T's. The T's will decide whether they want to eat them or not. But yes, you can offer.

Check out blaberus.com to familiarize yourself with the different species. B. Dubia seems to be favored.

i actually have a colony of dubia & laterallis and both have advantages. the dubia are good for bigger T's and the lateralis seem to breed a lot faster. i dont think you could wrong with either.

I feed all of my T's lobster roaches. They seem to like em quite well, and a minute or two in the freezer is enough to keep em slow.

I feed dubias to mine. about the only thing I have noticed is that females and nymphs may tend to freeze still or dig down and the T doesn't notice them but swapping out for a male will sometimes encourage the T to feed more readily.
