Brazil is not a big fan of exotic animals being imported into the country and it is strictly regulated...your best bet is finding someone in-country.

Bon tache

That is a great plan. You can get them all for free and start your own exporting business after you set up a few CB suply. i think all most half the Ts I own can be found in Brazil. :D The first T I would go look for are the Iridoplema hirsutum which may also be the same as Iridopelma sp.recife. I have four Iridoplema hirsutum and 1 Iridopelma sp.recife. They web like crazy and are speedy little jumpers. I know many people say Ts dont jump they fall but these guys really do have some ups.

Since you are asking that, i'll presume that you are from Brazil. That'll cost you, depending on the species, more than R$500,00 to bring a juvenile. If you can convince IBAMA to allow you bring them (which i doubt you will) there is a lot of taxes and the chance to get the T dead.

I'm brazilian too and i know the hobby here isn't very popular, and we get the most only Vitalius sorocabae that people find around and try to sell. But one reasonable place to look for is "Criadores de aranhas" community on orkut. Not a loot of T's, but be patient.

Have these people ever held an A.avicularia? A spider cannot 'fall' sideways from my hand to a slightly higher point on the side of its enclosure :p Most, if not all, arboreal Ts can jump, as can some terrestrials.

Brazil is a country that happens to have a lot of environments where Ts are found, you can get scrubland Ts, forest Ts, the lot. If you've got the balls for it, I'd take Stanley Schultz's advise in the Tarantula Keepers Guide with you and head out to get some. Just don't get too many and don't destroy or damage ecosystems.

hahahaha,the balls hahaha
it's very easy to capture a t's but here we don't do it because it destroys our world, and when someone goes and ask about it,we say that he needs to release her.
IBAMA is the most incredible organization, the animal trafic here is because they don't make it legal.
If anyone has a good way os transport to here let me know,I'm just trying to improve the hobby.

Yes, the balls. Not everyone is willing to go out into the wild, face snakes and other creatures in search of a tarantula that, likely more than not, will be defensive and quite difficult to capture.

Also, taking tarantulas from the wild does not "destroy the world". Taking 100 tarantulas, might, but taking one or two will not. It is by taking wild specimens that we can breed more, and that we can classify, catalog and study these fascinating creatures.

Where do you think your Ts came from originally? If you have ANY Ts, then somewhere back along the line it was a WC that started the chain. Don't start an argument for arguments sake, taking tarantulas from the wild is a necessity for this hobby and for the study of these creatures.

Even hamsters are taken from the wild and bred, it's where pets come from ultimately.
